Hi everyone, I recently changed the thermal paste in my 7820X and used liquid metal instead. Now I'm achieving stable performance at 4.9GHz with temperatures around 80°C on a custom loop. The voltages are set at 1.330V for Vcore, 2.1V for VCCin, and I haven't adjusted VCCio, VCCsa or mesh yet. My main concern is the safe Vcore voltage for Skylake-X, especially if I want the CPU to remain reliable for another year. I've managed to run Cinebench R15 at 5.0GHz with a 1.35V Vcore and still good temps. I'm eager to reach that 5.0GHz but worried about pushing too high without guidance. Also, is it possible to harm a CPU by applying excessive voltage even if temperatures stay well below the maximum limit? Thanks, James

Vccin should be avoided above 2V unless using subambient cooling. 1.4V is acceptable because full cooling is possible.
