I want that chip..... Excellent example of an FX. My 6300 is a total D.O.G. of a chip that needs the "Ol Yeller" treatment it's so bad.
Backup capable at 4.5ghz with solid boot performance. Ready for the stress test. Voltages configured at 1.2 volts @2000MHz CPU (NB) and 1.4 volts for CPU.
Partial Cinebench at 4.4Ghz performance. Still not optimal so far.
Testing is necessary to determine the optimal settings, as Cinebench will generate heat regardless of core usage. You'll gradually identify the best configuration.
Before proceeding, test another run using the current settings and keep an eye on CPU temperatures with tools like HWmonitor. FX chips tend to lose performance if they exceed around 63°C. If the temps stay within limits, consider slightly increasing the CPU voltage and testing 4.5. The adjustment likely comes down to a balance between voltage and temperature, with CPU speed also influencing the outcome. Of course, you'll reach a peak eventually—be prepared to acknowledge it once it happens.
