Hey everyone,
I’m really interested in boosting every aspect but power consumption from a CPU. I’m seeking people who own these components to assist.
I currently have an FX 6300 and a GA 78LMT USB3 motherboard (new with heatsink).
My question is: what’s the highest overclock I can expect on this board, focusing on temperature rather than just CPU performance? Also, with six 120mm case fans available, there’s plenty of airflow to work with.

Impossible to provide an accurate response. The Silicone Lottery is quite unpredictable. You'll need to share your results once you've reached the highest possible score. We can assist in determining your progress, though any information we receive may not be reliable.

There isn't much information about that MB, the 4+1 power section restricts how much you can push. Another constraint would be the stock CPU cooler. For cooling in MB, it's better to use small fans on the NB and VRM rather than filling the case with fans.
