I couldn't quite grasp what you wanna achieve here, but i think you are trying to split the PCIe lanes into the PCIe slots in x8/x4/x4 configuration. This can't be done and here is why: This is the diagram from the manual you've posted. The 3rd PCIe slot aka PCIE_3 (PCIe x4) is connected to the SB or the chipset, not the CPU. PCIE_1 and PCIE_2 are the ones that share lanes from the CPU. The bifurcation option applies only to these 2 slots, not to the 3rd one. IF you wana run x4x4x4x4 config, you will need a card similar to this: I think if you can find a PCIe x16 expansion card with just 2 slots to go x4x4 you can stick it in the 2nd PCIe slot and slot your add-in cards there, but so far i've seen those only with m.2 slots on them, not with full length PCIe x16 slots. There are ones like this though which split in x8x8 mode, but i am not sure they will work in the 2nd PCI slot when you select x8x4x4 from the BIOS. Certainly haven't tried this one out, but i'm really curious if it will work.
