Yes, that setup is fine. Your Ryzen 5 2600X with 2x8GB at 3600MHz performs well.

The performance varies with the motherboard. My setup uses 2x8GB RAM at 3466MHz CL16 and works fine with my Ryzen 5 2600. Lower latency is better too.
