Matchup between Paladins and Overwatch teams.
Matchup between Paladins and Overwatch teams.
It seems the system can't operate smoothly on their PC due to low FPS. Perhaps...
Overwatch is a highly refined and well-designed game. Playing with friends makes it enjoyable, though I haven’t tried Paladins yet and can’t share my thoughts on it.
I have several friends who really enjoy it because it's a finely tuned competitive FPS. Personally, I don’t mind Overwatch much since I prefer competitive FPS games like CSGO where there’s less of that... well, you know.
Overwatch offers a solid experience. It's well-refined and boasts superior servers compared to Paladins, though HiRes hosting isn't ideal for their titles. Yet, I often feel annoyed. Since the closed beta, I haven't played Paladins, but from what I experienced then it was noticeably slower than Overwatch. Personally, watching a tank with 600 health heal himself and pull you close feels incredibly frustrating. While Overwatch is polished and well-made, it can become really challenging without a coordinated team, especially when the meta is fixed and many strategies lack effective counterplay until you've truly gotten the hang of it or have a strong group to handle specific tactics.
Overwatch is enjoyable, but watch out for players who act negatively if you don’t play it well. The teams are compact, so a single weak performance can hurt the whole squad, which many find frustrating. Some modes let you focus on fun without worrying about toxic behavior, since most matches stay quiet in both text and voice. However, in competitive settings like capture the flag or 3v3, people take their game seriously and don’t tolerate sloppy play.
Maybe it's due to the team comp shifting each time you pass, which means you rarely face poor comp for extended periods.
