Hey, I understand your situation. You've invested a lot of time in Paladins—200 hours, and you're now curious about Overwatch. The game keeps improving with each update, and every patch feels fresh. Your graphics are decent, not bad but not outstanding. Community engagement is lower than what you're used to, especially compared to games like DOTA2 or LoL, though toxicity isn't as high. You mentioned servers can be unstable in early stages, which makes things a bit tricky.

From your point of view, have you played both? If you're leaning toward Overwatch, it might depend on what you value more—cost versus competitive depth. Paladins offer a card system that manages team capacity and lets you change heroes, making the game very strategic. That kind of flexibility can really enhance the experience.

Overwatch is priced at $39.99, which is a significant investment. Whether it remains viable long-term depends on how the developers continue to support it. If you're considering spending your money this Friday, think about what matters most: fun, community, or competitive play. If you enjoy its price and feel it offers enough value, it could be worth it. Let me know if you want more details!

I enjoy Overwatch. It's among the few games I've ever purchased.

Overwatch is generating thousands of sales each day. A mix of new and experienced gamers are involved. You’ll often find yourself playing with a level 600+ once you climb higher, even during fast sessions. In competitive play, you face consequences for quitting early. The game has a strong community vibe (good luck with quick matches), and it’s set to remain popular in the near future.

I initially doubted Overwatch would cost more than $20 for a single-player experience without any narrative. But after trying the beta, everything shifted. I've spent over 250 hours and still haven't gotten tired of it.

Overwatch is a paid game costing $40 upfront, with no ongoing costs afterward. You get free DLC indefinitely. It's a good deal.

If you enjoyed Paladins—though honestly it’s a rather average version of OW—you’ll appreciate OW even more. Blizzard has refined it to the best they could, and I’m impressed by the gameplay and the depth of the maps. The dialogue between characters feels natural and adds richness to the experience. Every character brings their own vibe, making the game feel truly immersive. I genuinely love it. I never imagined I’d play so much, haha. Get it, share it with your friends, and have fun for hours. P.S.: Hope everyone understands that competition isn’t about speed—it’s about skill, just like any other game.

Do you know anyone who plays Overwatch? If not, maybe skip it. The game feels a lot like Paladins in terms of gameplay and characters. But if you have friends who enjoy Overwatch and you're into the game, consider getting it. It's quite fun to play.

in paladins I don’t have any friends who played it. They mostly stick to dota2 or csgo but never really got into paladins. I tried once, but their computer couldn’t handle the game even at the lowest settings (living in a third-world country). So I’m on my own, and I picked paladins because I browse 9gag. I noticed a lot of excitement around overwatch in beta, like a game of thrones post every episode, and then months later I came across a meme warning not to copy everything. That made me learn about paladins, so I gave it a shot—it was fun and sparked my interest in buying overwatch because of the big difference in graphics and community size (youtube views usually between 1m and 2m). I’m planning to try overwatch this Friday.

They handle CS:GO well but struggle with Paladins. Do they use high-end graphics cards?
