Evening. Two factory paired DDR4 modules were installed in slots one and three for this motherboard using dual-channel configuration. An additional DDR4 stick of the same speed was added, though its timing differs from the first pair. Does the placement of the third stick in slot two or four matter? I think not since the matched pair already has its own dual-channel lane. Thank you very much.
Sure, the third stick is just an additional support here. I'm going to replace the stick with a kickstand for something everyone really appreciates. I didn't even consider them all setting up in a single channel. Cheers!
