Marshall devices disrupt Bluetooth connection quality
Marshall devices disrupt Bluetooth connection quality
I’ve already refreshed my Bluetooth drivers, but still face issues when connecting my Marshall speakers. Their signals often interfere with my keyboard or cause my mouse cursor to lag. They either block the inputs or disrupt everything. Turning them off and on again can sometimes resolve the problem.
I checked the manual and this seems to be a basic bluetooth speaker with a phone app. Bluetooth uses the 2.4GHz band. What probably happens is when the speakers are plugged in, they use all the available bandwidth for audio and your keyboard and mouse (I assume they are bluetooth too) end up fighting for the leftover bandwidth. You may have more luck switching your keyboard and mouse to another bluetooth channel since speakers do not usually offer that kind of control. You can do some things to mitigate the problem. The easiest one is to plug your speakers via the AUX cable instead of using bluetooth. If you need to keep the speakers connected via bluetooth, you can try switching channels for keyboard and mouse or you can switch to wired ones. Do you use other 2.4GHz devices around your computer (wifi, bluetooth, wireless, microwave oven, etc.) at the same time that you use the speakers ? Try shutting them down. Good luck !
