Connect your laptop to the TV to enjoy Dragon Age:Origins at top settings. Your girlfriend finds it nice to watch you play and sit comfortably near your desk. You have a PS4 controller that connects via Bluetooth to your PC. Using ds4Windows by Jays2Kings, you can turn the controller’s touchpad into a mouse and use an add-on keyboard. It looks like DA:O doesn’t support controllers natively. Finding a way to map your keyboard and mouse wirelessly is tricky—Input Mapper only works with a USB cable, which you want to avoid. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Using JoyToKey with my budget controller let me assign key actions or simulate mouse movements. It’s not straightforward at first, but once you get the hang of it, it works well.

If your game works with an Xbox 360 controller, you can switch to the alternative at http://ds4windows.com/ which mimics a PS4 controller for an Xbox 360. Xinput is already available in Windows and should function properly. For other options, mapping a controller to a keyboard and mouse usually works too. I also discovered this guide here: http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/176263...y-pc-games

I play around with MMO's and older games using my X360 controller. The detection of DS4 on Xpadder isn't certain, but it should work. Xpadder costs $10 on their site, which offers the latest versions, though they also provide some free versions occasionally. I use the free version and it functions perfectly. Official site: http://www.xpadder.com/ Free version link: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/...on%29.html You can also find the DS4 controller image here to assist with button mapping: http://xpadder.com/forum4/viewtopic.php?f=196&t=4794
