Hello, I recently bought a laptop from HP Omen. I've already talked to HP about this problem, but they seem uncertain about how to proceed. I wanted to reach out instead. Another point to mention is that this issue didn't occur when I first purchased the laptop—it usually doesn’t. What I experience is that apps needing a Microsoft login take an unusually long time to log in (sometimes up to an hour), or load very slowly, likely because they're trying to connect to a Microsoft account at startup. This problem doesn’t affect office applications, but it does with many built-in programs like the Microsoft Store, Xbox app, Xbox console companion, and games such as Minecraft (both Bedrock and Java versions) and Sea of Thieves. Occasionally, it shows up on the Windows login screen, forcing me to restart the laptop. The account works perfectly on other devices, and I've tried various accounts/users. I thought it might be a Windows issue until I reinstalled Windows 11 using the media creator, downgraded to Windows 10 with another fresh install, and then sent it back to HP, who also reinstalled Windows. In short, just reinstalling Windows doesn’t solve this. Even in the Windows setup window when signing in, it takes longer than expected, especially if I switch between multiple Microsoft accounts. Notably, once an app has logged in after a single load, it usually works fine when I close or reopen it, but the problem resurfaces only after a restart.

Specs: CPU – Ryzen 7 5800-H, GPU – RTX 3070, RAM – 16GB, Windows version – 22H2 (undergone several updates; also encountered issues with Windows 10)
Thanks for the feedback. I'm using WiFi connections, but the problem occurs across several networks. Even though I get the general idea, my phrasing might have contributed to the confusion. After logging into an app once, it usually signs in correctly, but other times it doesn't. For instance, when opening the Xbox app after signing in, everything works smoothly. However, if I try another app like the Microsoft Store, I still face slow login times.
