When playing games, crashes often happen within 10 minutes for titles like RDR2 and ETS2. Minecraft is the only one where this hasn’t occurred. I’m not sure what’s causing it since I’ve updated my GPU driver.

It could be related to a graphics driver problem. If you just installed the latest driver, it might have caused the issue. Always make a restore point before updating drivers—this ensures you can revert if needed. Your driver might simply be outdated. The graphics card or CPU could also be overheating, so monitor temperatures; if they're normal, it's probably not the hardware. Even with a high-quality cooler, poor thermal paste might be the cause. If temperatures remain high and your CPU cooler works well, it's unlikely to be a hardware fault. Also, check if other programs crash only during gaming.

What kind of crashing occurs—back to desktop, blue screen, everything dark? Is this a new issue or something recent? Have you looked at your temperatures? Made any changes to your system?

You need more details about the issue and any related logs. Please share sensor readings, crash information, and whether the GPU drivers were updated before or after as a step. Let me know if you're experiencing a full system shutdown or just crashes to the desktop, and when this began. Also, check the HWinfo output for any significant data.

Initially, I regret providing limited information about the situation. This has been an ongoing matter for some time, yet I didn't discuss it because I was taking a break from my PC to focus on university tasks. It seems this problem began around November last year.

1. This issue has persisted over a period, and during that time I've kept updating my drivers.
2. As previously noted, 3. the temperatures suggest possible overheating, especially since my CPU reaches around 70°C while gaming and stays under 65°C on GPU with fans running at least at 36%.
3. These occurrences have been observed only within games.
4. I noticed the PC would briefly freeze while playing fixed audio, then close to the desktop. Task Manager shows all CPU cores briefly reaching full capacity during idle.
5. This appears to be an older problem dating back to November 3rd. CPU temperatures are uncertain, but Ryzen tends to run hot.
6. Before these complications arose, I installed a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro Gen 4 M.2 SSD, though this happened not immediately after the installation.
7. At that time, my CPU was using automatic OC via Ryzen Master; I have since turned it off.
8. I need to verify whether XMP profiles are enabled and update this post soon. Also, I’m not very familiar with HWinfo, so I’ve attached a few images for reference.

I recently started using my PC for streaming YouTube and other content, and noticed the temperature climbed to around 86°C. I’m worried it might be overheating.

I own the 5950x with four extra active cores and run at around 50°C. At 70°C with four fewer cores during idle, it’s unusual for this architecture. Have the chipset drivers for Ryzen been installed yet? That could resolve some power issues. The HWinfo tool mainly displays sensor data like voltages and frequency ranges—try running it in the background, play a game or two, and capture the output.

I've just set up the AMD drivers yet the HWinfo still indicates an Intel Pentium inside. Also, idle temperatures have stayed around the 70s.

Would you like me to click the bottom-right task bar on the HWinfo icon, the blue square with white lines, and capture the sensors window? Your current screenshots display the summary and main window showing the components you have. Also, did you restart your computer after installing the AMD drivers?
