You're experiencing lag primarily due to something other than VSync affecting your performance. Check the settings that are running at full speed and see if adjusting them helps.

Consider allocating a particular RAM size for each game (like 7GB). This worked well in MLL. Additionally, check your drivers or switch back to previous versions.

It occurs to me in Wolfenstein, but that's due to the fact that ID the 5 is a POS engine.

The same problem occurred, and it looks like your hard disk was the cause. Once I transferred the games to an SSD, everything worked fine!

Verify installed games on your SSD to see if they relate to your HDD. If the issue resolves, consider reformatting the defective HDD or replacing it.
