I understand this was a frustrating experience. The drivers for the Vega 8 graphics didn’t help at all. After installing them, my performance dropped significantly. Here are the benchmark results you requested:

CS:GO - Before drivers – 67 FPS
CS:GO - After drivers – 38 FPS (with noticeable stutter)
Fortnite - Before drivers – 73 FPS
Fortnite - After drivers – 31 FPS
GTA V - Before drivers – 61 FPS
GTA V - After drivers – 26 FPS

It seems the lag and stutter remain even after uninstalling. The driver version is 20.5.1 on Radeon Adrenalin 2020 Edition. Let me know if you need further assistance.

The 20.5.1 is still in beta, I faced issues on my second PC too—your Vega 3 performance is impressive. I recommend trying to update the drivers and installing the stable version (20.4.2).

I forgot to state this, but I did download that version. No difference at all. In fact, the effects of the drivers are still happening now.

No, I didn't try anything. Could you clarify what you mean?

Sorry for the delay, but do you have any DDUs considered secure? I’m not keen on testing something questionable that might complicate things further. Updated: I tried a DDU that appeared safe, and it functioned (sort of). GTA V is back to normal, though CS:GO and Fortnite are still lagging quite a bit. Edited July 2, 2020 by EnergizedMemer
