I installed the new power supply yet the issue persists. It might be related to the graphics card.
Time is also a factor. Even when prices drop, I still can't afford anything new. It seems I'm finished with games for a while now.
Running things becomes possible when hitting the Power Limit 45, but anything beyond that causes crashes. POE always fails regardless of appearance. I can jump into Elden Ring now, but attempting Hitman 3 leads to artifacts and then crashes. Red Dead similarly suffers. Deep Rock follows the same pattern. With a 1080 Ti card, I know that 3070 and 3080 models would be suitable, while a 3060 or 3060 Ti wouldn't. Anything below those numbers would likely be a waste of money. If I need comparable or better performance on a new card, this situation is frustrating. But it does happen.
It seems the GPU struggles under high power limits, likely due to thermal throttling. Raising the power limit might help, but you haven’t seen heat problems yet. Applying new thermal paste isn’t necessary unless temperatures rise. Consider checking cooling solutions or fan performance.
