Hello, I'm a WAMP user who's struggling to host a website. After checking many guides online, I've tried following instructions but nothing seems to work. I'm using No-IP as my DNS service. Could someone assist me in getting WAMP online and hosting my site? Please let me know if you need help!
Create WAMP on a computer, enable port 80 on your router for incoming connections, retrieve your public IP address and enter it. It should function as expected—let me know if you need assistance.
I'm sending the 8080 (Wamp Port) and 443 through your router, yet it's not functioning properly.
Why not deploy a LAMP server inside a VM? It offers better security and simpler operation. I've only tried XAMPP once or twice, and it looks like running it on your desktop's host OS is risky. If you're planning to host a small site (not WordPress or Drupal), consider using a Raspberry Pi. It's quiet, secure, and energy-efficient.
