I understand that running Malwarebytes free alongside a standard antivirus works well because only one scanner is active. I’m considering switching to MB Premium for extra features, even though normal AVs like AVG or Avast are always scanning. Would it be feasible to have an on-demand AV with MB Premium scanning continuously? Are there reliable on-demand antivirus options available? Also, would this approach be a good idea? I’m mainly drawn to MB’s simplicity, so if it feels like a habit, using the free version with an active AV might be acceptable.
