TechSpot/Hardware Unboxed reports the Asus Prime Z590-P operates beyond standard power constraints right out of the box. Assuming BIOS updates haven’t altered this, the PL1 can exceed 125W without restrictions.

They keep maintaining around 300 frames or higher, but I'm seeing low 200 and occasionally dropping into the high 100s.

Check if the CPU and VRM temperatures are within normal ranges. If performance is below expectations, verify XMP settings for your RAM and confirm whether games are loading from the internal SSD or an external one.

I need to verify once more, but I'm 80% confident my RAM is running at 3200 MHz. Valorant is installed on my internal SSD.

DDR4-3200 should work well for the 10900K unless the specifications are poor. A JEDEC DDR4-3200 CL22 setup might pose a challenge. As long as the CL16 or lower with XMP is used, performance should remain stable. If Fortnite loads from an external drive, timing changes during map movement could matter. USB SSDs often have higher latency than SATA or NVMe, which might slow down initial data retrieval even if overall loading remains steady. If drops happen while stationary and not during travel, the external drive issue is unlikely.

This appears to be a minor issue, as Valorant is recognized for its significant dips. It's likely caused by the extensive and intrusive "anti-cheat" system they employ. If you noticed a video without dips, it probably wasn't genuine. Apologies for the inconvenience.
