It is actually a very good F2P game and you don't need to pay to win. I started playing when it was an extension for chrome and you can just hop right in. You will die a lot at first but then slowly get tanks and planes and humvees. It is great

The core weapons work well right out of the box, delivering solid damage quickly. This makes the game balanced, though I haven’t commented on the vehicles yet.
