Today I performed the Bios update. It appears to have resolved the main problems so far. I can now boot without any issues using default settings. My RAM is functioning at the correct speeds. Notably, the memory controller frequency changed—before the update it was around 900mhz, and after it’s now operating at 1200 MHZ. I’m still experiencing occasional stuttering in games, but I suspect it might be related to a driver, program, or background task running on Windows.
Another update. I can now fully use my RAM capacity. The XMP setup is working and stable, running at 6000mhz. There are no more boot problems. Still experiencing micro stuttering, but it’s no longer happening inside the BIOS—just when using Windows applications.
Hello everyone, just sharing an update. I want to emphasize that I never managed to resolve the stutter problem. Each time I thought I had fixed it, it would come back. For a while, I considered giving up and accepting it. However, I kept trying to troubleshoot until recently. After several months of constant efforts, I still haven’t found a solution. None of the solutions shared here worked, but thank you for your attempts. What I’ve discovered is that this seems to be a hardware issue, likely related to how the MOBO, CPU, and RAM communicate. I’ve tried overclocking and underclocking, adjusting settings to see if it improves the problem. Each change affected the stuttering—sometimes making it better, sometimes worse. I can reduce the stutter to some extent, but it’s impossible to eliminate completely. I also tried a different RAM model, which was slower than the one I originally purchased. When installed, it stopped the stuttering entirely. However, when I experimented with XMP settings afterward, the problem returned. Switching back to my older RAM helped, and it seemed the best option. Interestingly, the new RAM performs well under extreme overclocking, which significantly reduces the stutter. This issue has been ongoing for almost two years now, and it’s really affecting me. If I can’t fix it soon, I might have to build a new system, which I’d rather avoid.
