Over the last few months I've noticed major frame drops. Usually I reached 120 FPS at the highest setting. Now I'm seeing around 7 FPS. All drivers have been updated from CPU to GPU and my RAM speed increased to 3200 MHz. The computer was built in 2020 without any problems. Here are the details: Case: NZXT H5 Computer model: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MS-7C91 OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Home (10.0, Build 22635) Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT 6-Core Motherboard: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MAG B550 TOMAHAWK (MS-7C91) RAM: 16 GB Storage1: SHGS31-1000GS-2 (931.5 GB/Fixed hard disk media) Storage2: SHGP31-500GM-2 (465.8 GB/Fixed hard disk media) Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8.0 GB) Display1: HPN HP 24mh (1920x1080 / 24 Inch) Display2: LG Electronics Inc. (GoldStar Technology, Inc.) LG FULL HD (1920x1080 / 21.7 Inch) I've received warnings on startup about CPU overheating, but temperatures stay normal during gameplay.

Temperatures rise with increasing speed, causing the CPU to reduce performance to maintain a stable maximum heat level.

What’s your best feature? If it gets too hot when it starts up, there might be an issue. Also, is your SSD functioning well and does it have sufficient available space?

The optimal method depends on your specific situation, but generally you should gather relevant information, analyze it carefully, and consider expert advice if needed.

I own several SSDs in excellent condition, around 5TB each. I'm running the regular AMD Spiral Wraith RGB. My cooling setup is minimal.

Play the game while checking display information like AMD's Radeon stats or similar tools such as HWMonitor. Observe where the temperature levels down and verify if the CPU frequency stays steady at its specified rates. If it drops, it may be throttling.

It's quite disappointing, and the paste might be dry. Consider upgrading to a better tower cooler and give it another look.

Both parties were right. The solution came from combining their efforts. I went to Micro Center, replaced the CPU cooler, cleared the dust, and it worked! Thanks a lot!
