Maintaining my position in Overwatch
Maintaining my position in Overwatch
I was playing at Gold around 2100 and see myself as a platinum player for my mechanical abilities, but I often face terrible teammates and struggle when I lose. Even with all gold, my team still lets me down, and now I’m stuck at 1700. I’m good at Pharah, but she needs solid teamwork; once it drops below 2000, it’s nearly impossible. It’s really tough to climb back up and it’s causing a lot of stress. I know I’m not bad, and if you’ve watched my streams you’ll see I’m decent. What should I do to get back to Gold and maintain it? Here are my stats: https://www.overbuff.com/players/pc/Snow...ompetitive
play a character who takes care of themselves. I used to be a Reinhardt around 2400, but my losing streak hit low points near 1800, making Reinhardt feel useless. I shifted focus to DPS roles—Soldier and Tracer—and kept improving. Now I'm at a career high of 2650 or higher. Tracer is the best choice; she’s manageable early on, and once you master her rewind ability, she rarely needs help from others.
I handle more recalls than anyone I know, but when it’s time to run out, it becomes really frustrating when your healers don’t do anything.
It seems you're suggesting a simpler mode since your skill level might be limited, so we'll go for a quicker game instead.
I began using Mercy and really enjoy it. People value strong healers, and you won’t feel the pressure of only focusing on taking damage.
