it's an all-in-one unit, but it's performed well since August after installing the cooler. even with a CPU upgrade in December everything remained stable. temps spiked only recently, after a period of the system running. the NZXT cam confirms the cooler is active and heat transfer feels noticeable when handling the tubes.

Core temperature readings come from built-in sensors rather than external sources.

Reads information from the processor sensor and saves it in the registry for software access. I'm wondering if you have an AIO cooler; just in case the heatsink temperature reading isn't perfect, it might be due to thermal paste issues.

I own an AIO, though it seems the problem might have resolved itself in about a day. I don’t know the reason, but the temperatures returned to normal, around 50-60 degrees.

It seems your space feels a bit cool, with temperatures hovering near 20°C. The AI temperature and core temp settings appear to be aligned, but there are occasional fluctuations.

the sole temperature data I receive comes from the thermostat located in the middle of my apartment. it reads around 70 degrees f and remains steady over time.

The only times my PC temperatures fluctuated drastically were when the fan heatsink got dusty, causing shutdowns due to overheating. Running similar applications triggered continuous spikes until I resolved the issue. Temperatures only increased during active tasks.

It's unusual, but this often occurs frequently and resolves on its own.
