Hi!
I downloaded both the old and new versions of the game (Definitive Edition).
But both have stutters, no matter the frame rate I set. Even at 30 fps, I still notice frame drops, which really affects the gameplay.
I reinstalled everything—Steam, drivers, everything—but nothing changed.
I’ve tried many solutions from the Nvidia control panel, but nothing works.
My system should run this game smoothly. My specs are: I5 9400f, GTX 1080ti, 24 GB RAM.
I play modern games like Division 2 and Mafia (Remake) at full settings without any stutter. They run well. Also ETS2 and Death Stranding.
I’m getting really frustrated, anyone have a solution? :/
I also changed the Sli settings via Nvidia Inspector—no effect. Tried different affinity values, but nothing helped.

Yes! Yes. I purchased the DVD about ten years ago, and Steam provided me with a free version of Remaster:dd I can share a picture if you wish.
