I received a Mad Catz 5 mouse off Facebook and it functioned properly when plugged in, but after installing the driver it stopped working. Removing the drivers and then reinstalling them restored functionality, though I still can't get the software to work when programming the buttons.

I will update the sig shortly.
The device I'm using is a Deli XPS 9570 with an i9 processor, 32GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 1060TI. I've learned that a USB 3 is recommended, even though it was thought to be backward compatible with USB 2.
