The post is a lighthearted update about encountering malware on a Mac. It mentions a recent download, a morning restore two days prior, and expresses relief that the issue is resolved. The tone is casual and humorous, with a focus on personal experience.

Sure, let me rephrase that for you. #Macs are annoying. I actually own an old Macintosh Centris 610. LOL

Text displayed on every page was emphasized, followed by ads. Any click triggered a pop-up directing users to a site indicating my computer is outdated and insecure.

I'm familiar with Macs, had issues with overheating iMacs and MacBook Pros in school—they tended to collect a lot of dust.

I install a fan control software and start it at maximum power for several minutes. It removes a lot of dust. I do this roughly every month. When I first tried it, my temperatures dropped from about 50 to 30. But keep in mind, it gets pretty loud.

If you're concerned about it happening again, you don't really need it because there are only a few pieces of wild malware for OSX right now.
