Macrium Reflect recovery USB seems to be broken for me right now.
Hi, I set up Macrium Reflect on my computer and keep some backup files called .mrimg. I'm running an old hard drive named M2N68-AM SE2, and it's been working fine for me. When I insert a recovery USB stick, pressing F8 lets me pick the disk, but everything goes black with a flashing cursor instead of loading anything.
I have two of these sticks now because one broke down at some point. This same problem happens to both of them. Is there something wrong with my setup? Maybe I can just use a CD or DVD to do a restore instead?
Update your post with all system hardware details and operating system info. Check the power supply: make, model, wattage, how old it is, and if it's in working shape. Look at your hard drive(s): make, model, how much space they have, and are they full? Do other USB gadgets work when plugged into those ports? Can you read the recovery USB on another computer? What steps do you take during a system repair? Check this link: http://reflect.macrium.com/help/v5/how_t...onment.htm Also review how the recovery drives were made. Something might have been missed or done wrong.
