Emails are delivered correctly when you input your login details. The prompt appears since macOS needs to reach the system keychain for credential access. You should have disabled the option to remember your login information.
If credentials are being emailed but require multiple entries, check the System Keychain directory for possible adjustments or deletions. I don’t have the ability to take screenshots, but you can review the folder yourself.
It shouldn't be doing that. Maybe as @flindeberg points out, you might have disabled credential memory or the feature isn't active. Once everything is configured properly—like entering your email account details (SMTP servers, etc.)—it functions smoothly without needing repeated password entry. I'll look into this thread later; it's 3:45 mins and my troubleshooting mind is pretty down.
Start by accessing the keychain and updating your keychain password. It’s best to reset it to the default (your regular password). This usually resolves many access problems. Additionally, right-click the Mail app and select Info; at the bottom you’ll find details about its permissions.
