Hey there, welcome to the first post! I assembled my initial PC around a year ago and everything was working perfectly. Last month we made some interior changes, so I chose to shut it down and keep it in the garage for safety. Last week, after finishing my room, I upgraded to a new monitor (Samsung 27” G55A) and this is when I started experiencing problems. Right away, I realized my PC was capped at 60Hz. I tried updating everything via Windows settings and through Armory Crate. After a few restarts it wouldn’t start, and I saw a message saying the VGA card isn’t supported by the UEFI driver. It’s the same RX6900XT card. I haven’t opened the case since building it. After updating the BIOS, no error appeared, but my GPU wasn’t listed in the BIOS. I went into Windows to install the GPU drivers and everything worked, though it crashed under heavy load. I reset again and still needed to reinstall drivers. What should I do? Thanks a lot! Here are the full specs:
- Motherboard: Asus B550-I
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D
- GPU: Asus Strix LC 6900XT
- RAM: Corsair Dominator DDR4 3200
- Storage: Samsung 970 EVO M.2 1TB
- SSD: Samsung 870 EVO SATA 1TB
- Power Supply: Lian Li Sp850W SFX form factor
