I own an old MBA from mid-2011, 11-inch size, 64GB SSD, 2GB RAM, and a second-generation i5 processor. I’m weighing whether to install Windows 10 on it (thanks to contacts for cheaper OEM options). While I’m okay with MacOS right now, having a unified operating system across devices would be ideal. I have access to both 32-bit and 64-bit drivers, but they’re all Windows 7 compatible. A 32-bit OS might use slightly less RAM than the 64-bit version on my Mac, but are there any drawbacks? What do you think? Should I upgrade to Windows 10 or keep using MacOS?

For those who prefer Windows 10, it’s the top choice.

Well, you can install Windows on them if necessary, but I use Windows on my 2013 MacBook Pro. It’s not advisable; macOS would be better, and 2GB of RAM wouldn’t perform well with Windows 10.

The power duration on devices using Windows on Macs is extremely poor!

I used a pirated copy of 32-bit Windows 7, which used less memory than its 64-bit counterpart. This is why I prefer Windows now. For clarity, I switched back to MacOS. Regarding the drawbacks of 32-bit Windows 10 compared to 64-bit, consider these points: with only 64GB available, choosing between the two options is limited.
