Attempted to activate the Metal API in Lol on Mac using a terminal script, expecting improved performance. Results showed no significant boost. Maximum frame rate remained around 290 fps, regardless of settings. At 200 fps cap, stability issues appeared with 150 fps; uncapped rates settled near 240 fps. Noted a livestream mentioned higher speeds on the new M4 MacBook Air with Metal enabled and uncapped settings. Someone might have useful tips.
