Hello, I'm here to assist you. You're looking for a solution that lets you connect your gaming mouse and keyboard to both your PC and Mac without affecting performance. A KVM might help, but you should verify it won't introduce latency issues. Consider options that support seamless input routing and high refresh rates to maintain smooth gaming and productivity. Let me know if you'd like more details!

You're free to choose a physical KVM or a software solution like Synergy or Barrier. Both work across platforms. https://github.com/debauchee/barrier I've found Barrier more reliable with no noticeable lag.

I favor a hardware-based physical KVM switch for gaming monitors, keyboards and mice to achieve true low-latency switching in HID and video contexts. You should look for a KVM switch offering these features: 1. Ability to handle high-resolution and fast refresh rates for gaming monitor sharing. 2. DDM-class KVM for seamless switching between shared keyboard and mouse. 3. Integrated EDID emulation with continuous EDID input to all connected devices for quick video switching and consistent video profiles. A sample configuration for the DP1.4 / DP1.4(DSC) KVM switch was provided to share a 240Hz gaming monitor. The demo demonstrated dual-monitor support, but another model exists for single monitor sharing.
