Tried resetting the M4 Mac Mini, but it entered recovery mode with flashing orange lights, and the screen didn’t display anything. I’m looking for help without being able to use another Mac.

Shut down the device, then restart while keeping the power button pressed longer than ten seconds. When the recovery appears, you can reinstall; otherwise, you may need a Mac to restore it using DFU.

I took a Mac from a friend and used it to reset my Mac Mini. You can learn more about this process online, though it’s quite detailed and takes a long time. It did work.
