Mac High Sierra in vmware iMessage and GPU
I'm using macOS 10.13 on a VMware Workstation 14 Pro. The system functions adequately, but iMessage remains unstable and I can't access it. My machine runs a GTX 1050 with just 2 GB of VRAM, which isn't utilizing properly in the virtual environment. I've read through the provided instructions (https://github.com/toshmatik/VMWare-iMes...uctions.md), yet authentication fails when trying to log in. The attached screenshot shows the error, and the .vmx file details are included. This setup includes macOS 10.13, virtual hardware version 14, and all necessary configurations. Tools are powered softly, and I've set power management options accordingly.
Messages are extremely difficult to deploy on non-Apple devices.
From my experience with VMs, it’s simple enough. Just set the UEFI to use a fake serial number, and everything should work smoothly.
This occurs when running macOS on a virtual machine. To enable it, you may need to set up a complete Hackintosh, which the community generally opposes.
You utilized the NVIDIA web drivers for your GPU, provided it was installed properly.
