M.2 No longer detected by BIOS
Completed a build using a Samsung 960 EVO 250GB. Initially, the BIOS recognized it, but after restarting it didn't. I've restarted multiple times without success. The motherboard model is ASUS Prime Z370-A.
Remove all other SATA devices from your board. Determine the number of SATA devices you intend to add once the system/OS is installed.
Ensure you are using the most recent BIOS version.
Identify which slot was used for installation.
My understanding is that adjusting that configuration in BIOS, whether RAID to AHCI or AHCI to RAID, usually requires a full system reboot after installation since the BIOS fails to recognize the boot location.
