Observed two slots with heatsinks on both sides of the M.2 drive. One has standard cover while the other keeps the drive separate and lets air flow behind it. Decide if adding a low-profile heatsink is needed or not. Your SAMSUNG 980 PRO is dual-sided, so check compatibility before purchasing.

Verify your SSD's temperature. If it's consistently high near 60 or 70 under typical usage, it might be time to upgrade. Use hwinfo64 to monitor the readings.
