LTT Forums CPU Boosting Collection!
LTT Forums CPU Boosting Collection!
Over 175 submissions have been received, with more than 20,000 views. The color ranking is determined by testing duration: Red for under an hour (or just a quick CPU-Z check), Orange for 1–3 hours (or at least 40–50 Prime95 attempts), Green for 4–6 hours, Purple for 6+ hours.
I’ve prepared a fully structured form that automatically updates entries in the database spreadsheet. The form is straightforward, but I’m open to any adjustments you think are needed. I can modify it anytime.
I’ll also be reviewing the database regularly to ensure accuracy. Entries that don’t match the photos or lack images will be marked yellow for verification only—they’ll remain in the system until corrected. If you have missing photos or want to remove such flags, just let me know and I’ll update your record.
For multiple machines or CPUs, feel free to add them to the list. This database is going to grow quite large!
Please note that my initial entry was just a test—my goal is to improve it. If you spot anything missing, share it, and I’ll fix it.
Lastly, thank you for your support!

Update 10/16
With a new Cinebench release, I’d like all submissions measured using that version. Old entries are fine, but feel free to update them if you want the most current scores. To update your Cinebench result, run the latest build (linked in the form) and take a screenshot—send it over!
Thanks ahead of time!
Update: Just in case you weren’t aware, I’m planning to notify you when an entry is approved or still pending based on matching Intel or AMD models with the color code. If some entries don’t match, don’t worry—I’ll update them once I see the correct info. I’ll keep an eye on new Haswell entries, requiring both CPU-Z and RAM tabs, and will flag those without both as orange in their image section.
Feel free to message me for any changes or revisions!
Example: Screenshots like this make everything so much clearer!
This helps a lot 😊
You might want to include updates to your bios for better clarity. I’m currently running tests on temperature ranges and expect to wrap up the form in roughly 10 to 20 minutes.
I noticed the settings skip turbo ranges. I might try a full raw boost later if needed. Auto setting to CPU voltage could work too.
Hahaha, if its holding up your entries you can submit auto voltage for now. Or you can use a software suite at that point. You can PM me later with the updated info and I'll update your entry
They got there first for the Sandy and Ivy bridge. SB links to the official guide here: http://www.overclock.net/t/968053/offici...preadsheet. IB shares the Ivy Bridge stable club manual at: http://www.overclock.net/t/1247869/offic...preadsheet.
Sounds great, I'll take it when I get back and add my overclock details.
