It seems a 2000-series Ryzen CPU would offer good value. You can find the 2600 for about $120, which is perfect for aiming for 60 fps gaming performance.

Yes, as mentioned before, 2600 is the optimal option. A 2700 would be acceptable only if it costs about 20% more than 2600.
