Lower FPS with FPS cap (NVIDIA Inspector)
Lower FPS with FPS cap (NVIDIA Inspector)
I have googled a ton and can't find anything but sorry if I've missed it.
Okay here's the deal. I have a G-sync monitor and have had for over 2 years. Multiple times I've tried capping the FPS to ~141 because it makes sense when you have G-sync.
However I have an odd issue where I get overall lower FPS while capped compared to non-capped.
Example:
If I play any game without any capping I get 100-150 FPS.
If I cap it to 141.9 (or whatever option there is in NVIDIA Inspector) I all of a sudden get 95-132 FPS. It just won't go over ~132/133.
Why is this? Are there more people having the same issue?
It makes no sense to me.

Have you tried scrolling lower down the options and selecting "141 fps (Frame rate limiter v2)"?
This sounds like a frustrating situation! It appears you've encountered an issue with a recent update that has altered your inspector settings and limited your available frame rates.
Here’s a breakdown of what might be happening and some potential steps to take:
