Actually, I wouldn't operate the device using only the four-pin connector. It isn't receiving sufficient power and can't ensure its reliability.

The issue seems to lie with the cable connections rather than the power rating. I haven’t specified the PSU’s make or model yet, which might be relevant. It could mean the device has the right ports but is connected improperly.
