NCIX indicated that GTA V performs better on low-end systems than on PS4 or Xbox One. This isn't a universal rule—some properly ported games may still run well on those platforms.

It seems questionable. I noticed a video yesterday showing GTA V on low settings, and it appears lower quality on Xbox One/PS4 compared to PC. The PS3/Xbox 360 looks about medium at 720p.

Question it. These consoles have the game tuned for them, ensuring smooth performance even on somewhat basic systems.

It seems really off. Playing GTA V at its weakest options feels like a setup for the N-Gage, and without real AA it’s just maximum chaos.

LOL. That's true. Modern titles seem tough on older PCs. Playing on Xbox or PS4 usually works at medium or better settings. Sorry about the racing games, but they need more power than a $400 machine can provide to beat the consoles.

It's quite unusual. Those with a stake in selling PC components are asserting the computer version appears more appealing.

High resolutions match the desktop version, but likely appear slightly less polished on the PC due to lower performance.

The issue isn't about the visual appearance of the game. The real problem lies in how the console versions perform—poorly, really. They don’t look great, though they might be acceptable on a PC.
