PUP refers to a potentially unwanted program. However, closing unused applications is essential. Examples include: acrotray.exe, AdobeIPCBroker.exe, CCXProcess.exe, ctfmon.exe, Dashlane.exe, DashlanePlugin.exe, g2ax, Edge Node.exe, OfficeClickToRun.exe, ReflectMonitor.exe, ReflectUI.exe, Snagit32.exe, SnagitEditor.exe, Team Viewer, TrueImageMonitor.exe, and UPS. It's recommended to keep these background processes off.
