Low power usage and performance under 13,000 in Cinebench R23 for Ryzen 7 5700X
Hello, your 5700x is working well in games and overall performance is solid. However, when checking scores on Cinebench and search results, most people report around 15000 on multi-core. Your system specs look good—R7 5700x, 6600XT, 32GB RAM, 3600MHz—so you're in a strong position. If you want higher scores, consider optimizing drivers, updating firmware, or checking for background processes that might affect performance.
105W is the maximum TDP by default, but PBO applies regardless. Monitor your motherboard temperature sensor and CPU power wattage to identify the problem. Mainly, check if power throttling is occurring or not. The A520 doesn’t have a DOCP, so your RAM will likely run at 2133/2666Mhz, which is the JEDEC standard. This could also be causing performance drops.
It's a 65W TDP component, not 105W. The board is an A-series model; PBO adjustment isn't possible. My system has DOCP turned on in BIOS, and the RAM speed is set to 3600MHz in CPUZ.
I have a Thermalright assassin king, so my temps underload max out at around 60-65c I checked my vrms and they stay around 70c they have a chunky cooler on top, it's one of the higher end a520m board like it's like their gigabyte aorus equivalent one. Yeah, that's what I am assuming aswell. It's fine I guess but seems a little dumb it doesn't seem to be pushing itself to a little since it has headroom.
It seems PBO is likely an overclock technique that boosts performance by expanding power limits.
