So about a week ago I noticed lag while playing Fortnite. There was a yellow/red internet connection warning in the top left corner, but I had 0 percent packet loss and around 5-20 ping. I could feel the delay during gameplay, with my character moving slowly and other elements lagging. I checked my internet speed and it seemed fast, so I restarted my router and my PC—anyone have ideas on how to fix this?

Ensure your BIOS on the motherboard (desktop or laptop) is updated. Remove the NIC drivers and reinstall them from the manufacturer's support site using the latest version. Launch the installer with elevated privileges, such as right-clicking and selecting Run as Administrator. Verify the current Windows 10 version you are using.

your bios is current, but identifying the manufacturer of your nic drivers requires checking the driver details in your system settings or manufacturer's website.
