I have a different suggestion. I noticed you're using just one stick of RAM. The benchmark data shows your CPU is consistently lagging about 10% compared to the average. Using single-channel instead of dual-channel can cut performance by roughly 10%, particularly in tests. Adding another 8GB could boost your speed significantly.

Are you checking if a single module RAM is being used? It seems it only offers half the bandwidth compared to dual channels. That might explain why your CPU isn't performing well.

Yes, at 3000MHz it is exactly half of 6000MHz.

The communication speed between CPU and RAM is measured in bandwidth. Using a single channel gives a performance drop on Ryzen compared to dual channel. Your RAM operates at DDR4-3000 MHz... think of single channel as two lanes on a highway, while dual channel provides eight lanes. Likely, the CCX connecting Ryzen cores on the 3000 remains dependent on RAM speed and capacity. Higher RAM speed and dual channel usage boost the data transfer rate along the communication path between each core. P.S. The commenter on bleepingcomputer.com appears to be confusing GPU power draw with CPU power needs. 450W is only suitable for an ideal setup—entire system should handle it comfortably, with room for extra load.

There are numerous differing views on the required wattage, with some even suggesting this PSU model falls short in quality. I've also tested Aida64, Cinebench and other benchmarks, and attached the findings for your review: https://valid.x86.fr/fdi8fc https://www.3dmark.com/spy/9003944 Report.htm

The brand itself isn't the issue — Corsair has a long history, having existed for over 25 years. The problem lies with the 'VS' series PSU. The construction quality falls short; this line represents Corsair's most affordable PSUs. To maintain lower costs, designers often make trade-offs and cut features. Many users run systems beyond typical office setups, so components like graphics cards can cost $500+ and CPUs $300+. Generally, people allocate a 'reasonable' budget for the PSU. Remember, the PSU is the core of your PC; failure can bring down the whole system. If I invest over $1000 in a gaming rig, I’d opt for a better PSU to protect my investment. When I purchased my Sapphire NITRO R9-Fury, each graphics card was around $750. With two units, using a cheap $50 PSU could risk overheating and damaging the expensive cards worth over $1400. Your Cinebench scores line up with other Ryzen R5 3600 models, staying within a 2% range. This suggests your CPU is functioning properly.
