I was checking benchmarks for my computer but no one matched my setup exactly—they usually had 2400MHz RAM or 3200MHz, yet we're achieving better performance. Could it be my RAM or another factor? My specs: Ryzen 3 2200G, RX570, 4GB with 2x4GB DDR4 at 2133MHz, Cooler Master MWE 550 GB, A320M S2H.

Zen 1 with the poorest response time is quite disappointing. It won't just drop in FPS, but will experience significant frame drops. The issue is around 1% lower performance. You can still manually adjust it if needed. Edited June 14, 2020 by TofuHaroto

However, increasing the clock speed causes it to run at 16 and the performance suffers.

Lower latency and increased frequency deliver comparable results. For instance, 3200 MHz clock at 16 ≈ 3600 MHz at 17/18
