You were mainly concerned about the pad installation and possibly the tightness of the screws during assembly. Whether the small performance drop is due to elevated hot-spot and VRAM temperatures or not depends on those factors.

You ran some tests in games to see how it compares to the unusual Furmark numbers. TechPowerUp mentioned a 9% difference between 4070 Super and 3080, while my Furmark results came in at 41.2%. My benchmarks in GTA V and F1 22 showed 12-16% differences. I’m hoping the gap will narrow once temperatures improve.

Absolutely, unless the chip is built for this heat, I question it. This setup seems to be a 3-in-one GPU, and the ASUS TUF line isn't really in the budget range. Probably the issue is with the temperatures—high hotspots making it slow down, which is safer than risking damage.

Updated the information. Received the card back from the repair shop. Current max temperatures: GPU at 65.8°C, GPU Memory Junction at 92°C, GPU Hot Spot at 79.6°C. I also adjusted the voltage slightly for better results, and performance has improved.
