Every few days I suddenly experience 150-200 ms delays and the only solution is restarting the router. My setup includes a router with Wi-Fi 4 phones, Sercom SpeedProt, plus a J932BS001584 switch (actually configured as a switch). Currently, only one PC is connected at a time.

Jitter was assessed across all locations and services, or selectively for specific areas. It affected certain devices and could occur via Wi-Fi or wired connections.

Because you say the router requires a restart, connect your devices straight to the Sercom (likely DSL) modem instead of using the router, then check again. If the problem disappears, your Zyxel router is likely faulty and should be swapped for a better model. If it persists, further testing is needed to see if the issue lies with your ISP, the Sercom modem, or specific network devices.

- Restart the device or power cycle it off and on again.
- Test with a different cable or port if applicable.
