You can increase RAM by upgrading your system's memory modules or using a compatible motherboard. VRAM refers to the video memory in graphics cards, which affects how smoothly games run and renders. High FPS on high settings often comes from good VRAM capacity.

Beyond all else, isn't Arma 3 similar to those games where you grab multiple 780TI servers just to play?

I don’t use it on Ultra with a 780 and an i5 4670K. In the editor I see 150fps and multiplayer runs about 60. I’ve increased RAM, VRAM, and cores for the game.

Absolutely, it can be challenging to manage, but it also depends on whether you're aiming for a slow server or something else.

Here’s a revised version:

The configuration settings are set to 8 CPU cores, with options disabled for splash, intro, pauses, and memory limits. Adjust the CPU core, RAM, and VRAM values according to your system.

For your AMD 8350 with 8GB RAM, set maxmem to around 4GB and maxvram to 16GB.
