I bought the pc last week and began observing issues yesterday in Fortnite and PUGB, where my GPU and CPU usage are around 50%, but I don’t see any problems in GTA/Fifa 19. The system specs include a Zotac AMPA GTX 1660 Ti driver version 430.64, a Ryzen 5 2400G, 16GB Ballistix Sport RAM at 3000MHz, a Gigabyte B450M BIOS, a F1 Thermaltake 500W PSU (comes with the chassis, exact model unknown), a Thermaltake Commander MS-II chassis, Windows 10 Pro 64bit, a 1080p 60Hz LG monitor.

my fps stays around 150 to 200, usually close to 180, but it's mainly those occasional freezes. I notice others using an i5 9400f and gtx 1660 don't see much improvement, and they don't experience stutters.

It's reasonable to think an i5 9400f outperforms a Ryzen 5 2400g in this situation. Since PUBG relies heavily on CPU performance, it's logical for players to achieve better FPS. Could you share the current game settings?

epic textures along with view distance, post processing effects were considered. I also tested the blackout maxed-out settings, which produced solid frames while keeping GPU and CPU usage consistently above 70%, occasionally hitting the 90s.

The issue you're facing is that everything you've mentioned is perfectly fine. Your aim is clear.

i understand that the issue is the game freezing briefly before restarting, which occurs frequently.

I actually started playing PUGBG and Call of Duty Blackout and I'm experiencing these brief freezes, which is really annoying. Please help me as soon as possible, Dr. Historic Low.

Does adjusting your graphic settings cause freezing? Try setting everything to medium and observe if the issue persists. Restart the game after changing the settings. If this resolves the problem, consider tweaking the graphics mix to a combination of low, medium, high, and very high. If it doesn’t work, you might need to uninstall and reinstall your drivers via DDU. Let me know how these steps turn out. Please type @, then Dr, and let my name appear before clicking it. If you skip that, I won’t be notified.
